In Earrings
I shape and paint the leather by hand to create these sculptural leaf earrings. The curved edges and folds give each leaf its own form, highlighted by a metallic painted finish.
The leather leaves hang from rectangular, gold-tone stainless steel tops with titanium posts. Despite their large size, the earrings are lightweight.
Each pair has small differences in its folds, shape and painted details because of the handmade process.

• Leather drop below the metal top: 9 cm / 3.54 inches.
• Metal top, height × width: 2.5 × 1 cm / 0.98 × 0.39 inches.
• Total earring height: 11.5 cm / 4.53 inches.
