In Bracelets
I make the leather decoration of this bracelet by hand in my workshop in Glyfada, Athens.
I use natural leather, cut the leaf shapes by hand, soak them in lukewarm water and shape them by hand to create the folds and curves. After drying, I paint the leather in burgundy, black, gold and silver tones.
The composition consists of one double leather leaf and one single silver-and-black leather leaf. I add crystal rhinestones and burgundy suede details.
The silver-tone metal cuff is a ready-made base that I purchase and use for the bracelet. I do not make the metal base myself.
Because the leather is shaped and painted by hand, every bracelet can have small differences in the folds, curves and painted details.
The decorative motif measures approximately 10 cm × 6.5 cm. The inner opening is approximately 7 cm.
