What does it cost to sell on Makli?

Makli charges one commission on the total the buyer pays for an order, including delivery. There are no listing fees, no monthly or subscription charges, no payout fees and nothing to pay to open a shop. You only pay when you sell something.

How much is the commission?

Makers who joined on or before 31 July 2026 pay 5 per cent, locked in for as long as they sell on Makli. Makers who join from 1 August 2026 pay 10 per cent. The rate you start on is the rate you keep.

Are there any other fees?

Stripe charges its own payment processing fee, billed to you directly under your own agreement with Stripe rather than through Makli. That is separate from the commission and is not something Makli sets or receives.
